Has your significant other suddenly stopped communicating with no explanation? Turns out you’re in good company.
According to Fortune, a study shows nearly 80% of Millennials have claimed to have been “ghosted” — when all communication with someone they’ve been dating has ceases suddenly, according to Urban Dictionary. In other words, the virtual silent treatment.
Fortune reports the findings come from a survey of 800 Plenty of Fish users between the ages of 18 and 33.
So, while there are plenty of fish in the Millennial sea of dating, it’s not always easy to find a catch who won’t sneakily swim away.
