‘Harry Potter’ actor now a mixed martial arts fighter

Look out, Muggles.

Actor Josh Herdman — who played Gregory Goyle, one of Draco Malfoy’s henchman — has graduated from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to the world of MMA fighting, according to the U.K.’s Mirror.

He made his debut in London fighting Polish opponent Janusz Walachowski. And guess what? Herdman won!

Despite entering the ring, Herdman claims he’s not done with acting just yet.

“I haven’t fallen out of love with it; I still have an agent and still go for auditions” said Herdman in an interview with the website AddictedMMA. “It’s just a little bit like playing the lottery for a living.”

Herdman also said he’s waiting for someone to give him a fighting nickname. Might we suggest The Beater? (It was his role on the Slytherin Quidditch team, after all.)
